About Daniel

I'm a family man, spouse to the love of my life and parent to a child who amazes me every day.

I'm an amateur rugby (union) player, chasing the eggball a few times a week and representing our town regionally on our men's XV's team and coaching in our youth flag rugby program.

I've been described as a "a real life Ted Lasso", a technical people person, and a unix hippie born a few decades too late. My area of expertise are in distributed systems, networking, and cybersecurity. Day to day I am a purveyor of Conway's Law, designing and optimizing organizational structures to best support teams as they focus on building high performance products and services.
